Great Western Highway – Mt Victoria
- A single lane closure remains in place on the Great Western Highway at Fairy Bower Road near Mount Victoria (east of Darling Causeway) due to slope instability.
- The single lane closure is in place eastbound with the westbound lane open under stop/slow. Traffic control are on site to manage traffic.
- Traffic control are on site at Hartley to ensure safe passage of vehicles travelling up Victoria Pass, should vehicles begin to queue at Mount Victoria.
- Heavy traffic and significant delays are being experienced along the Great Western Highway. Queues of 2-4 hours can be expected between Friday 3pm – Sunday 11pm.
- Depending on your destination, consider Hume Hwy or Golden Hwy as alternate routes between Sydney and western NSW.
Bells Line of Road
- There is currently no access to Windsor or Richmond via Bells Line of Road.
- Depending on your destination, consider Great Western Hwy, Hume Hwy or Golden Hwy as alternate routes between Sydney and western NSW.
