Changed testing requirements for entry.
RAT testing has now been included as a testing method.
FULLY VACCINATED DRIVERS FROM AREAS OTHER THAN VERY LOW RISK (2 doses of COVID vaccine)
- Proof of negative result from PCR test in past 7 days OR
- Proof of having a PCR or RAT test within past 72hrs OR
- Within 12 hours, submit to a RAT or COVID-19 test as determined and administered by SA Pathology or the Department
- Must comply with requirement to wear a mask
*UNVACCINATED DRIVERS FROM VERY LOW RISK AREAS [Qld, WA and Tas] (*1 dose by 8/12/21 and evidence of booking for 2nd dose)

Within 12 hours, submits to a RAT to detect or diagnose or a COVID-19 test as determined and administered by SA Pathology or the Department
- Must comply with the requirement to wear a mask.
SA Testing sites
Commercial transport and freight workers can access COVID-19 testing at any testing site in SA. They will be given priority access upon presentation of proof of employment. Sites have been set up on major freight routes to assist with access to testing. Information on site location and opening hours is available at the below links.
Point of Care Tests
Some commercial transport and freight workers entering South Australia from restricted zones will be directed to undertake a Point of Care Test, in addition to the standard COVID-19 test.
