Road Conditions SWQ: Cunningham Highway at the Cunninghams Gap - Access temporarily closed to oversize loads , Tregony

On the Cunningham Highway at Cunninghams Gap, traffic will be reduced to a single lane for guardrail repairs from:

• 7.00pm Sunday, 8 December 2024 to 5.00am Monday, 9 December 2024; and 
• 7.00pm Monday, 9 December 2024 to 5.00am Tuesday, 10 December 2024.

Access will be temporarily closed to vehicles wider than 3.0m during these times for repair works to be undertaken within the narrow road widths at this section of the Cunningham Highway.

A reduced speed limit of 40km/hr will be in place with traffic control for the safety of road users.

Oversize vehicles must check the Conditions of Operations Database and seek an alternative route

During these periods alternative routes should be planned accordingly.

The department encourages operators to plan alternative routes or adjust transport schedules where possible.
