Road Conditions NSW: Changed traffic conditions on the M1 Princes Motorway, Mount Ousley Road and Picton Road

Changed traffic conditions will be in place on the M1 Princes Motorway, Picton Road and Mount Ousley Road in November for the start of work on the Mount Ousley Interchange.

Multiple night closures of the M1 Princes Motorway, Picton Road and Mount Ousley Road at the intersection with the M1 will occur in November 2024, between 8pm and 4am on the following dates:

  • Sunday 3 November, Monday 4 November and Wednesday 6 November

  • Sunday 10 November, Monday 11 November and Wednesday 13 November.

Detours will be in place via Memorial Drive and Bulli Pass for vehicles up to 19 metres and/or 50.5 tonnes, there will be a brief access window for vehicles exceeding these dimensions on weekdays.

Access window

Vehicles longer than 19 metres and/or more than 50.5 tonnes, will be given a 30-minute window to access Mount Ousley from midnight on:

  • Monday 4 November and Wednesday 6 November

  • Monday 11 November and Wednesday 13 November

Operators are strongly encouraged to register their interest to gain access during this window, to assist with our planning for the night. Vehicles arriving on-site will be parked up while waiting to be escorted through the site.

Registration is open until Monday 28 October 2024.

Outside of this window vehicles longer than 19 metres and more than 50.5 tonnes will not be able to access Bulli Pass and are advised to delay their journey or they will be parked up.

Operators of Class 1, 2 & 3 vehicles travelling under a Permit must not travel off the approved route listed in the permit unless an updated permit is obtained from the NHVR.
