SWQ-Reseal Works commencing 13/1/25

TMR will be commencing reseal works on various sections of South West District roads from 13 January 2025 to early February 2025, weather and conditions permitting.

Reseals are part of our ongoing maintenance program for the South West District and are an important part of the districts overall maintenance program. Resealing our roads preserves the surface and improves the reliability of the road network.

Roads scheduled for resealing in the South West District are:

  • Warrego Highway (Miles - Roma), between 52km to 56.5km and the truck stop area at 115.8km.
  • Carnarvon Highway (Surat - Roma), between 32.5km to 40km.
  • Balonne Highway (St George - Bollon), between 98km to 113.5km.
  • Balonne Highway (Bollon - Cunnamulla), between 0km to 37.5km
  • Roma - Condamine Road, between 46.5km to 60.5km.

We will try to minimise traffic delays as much as possible by using traffic control, single lane closures and speed restrictions. Motorists should slow down, drive carefully, and follow the instructions of traffic controllers and construction signage and allow up to an additional 15 minutes for their journey.

Works may restrict wide-load vehicle access and permit holders should check the TMR Conditions of Operation Database before travelling.
