Traffic Alert: Changed traffic conditions on Maitland Road at Hexham

Changed traffic conditions on Maitland Road at Hexham for Oversized and Overmass (OSOM) from today Monday 29 April to Thursday 2 May, 7pm to 5am, weather permitting, at the following locations:

·         inbound and outbound from Newcastle on Maitland Road between Sparke Street and Old Maitland Road at Sandgate on Monday 29 April

·         outbound from Newcastle on Maitland Road between Old Maitland Road, Hexham and the Hexham bridge on Tuesday 30 April

·         inbound to Newcastle on Maitland Road prior to the M1 on ramp to Old Maitland Road, Hexham and a temporary closure of the U-turn under Hexham on Wednesday 1 May

·         inbound on Maitland Road between Old Maitland Road at Hexham and Merchant Street on Wednesday 1 May 

OSOM vehicles with ground contact wider than 4.2 metres are required to call the project team on 1800 515 141 on approach to plan times and movements through or around the works.
