Road Conditions SEQ - Brassall to Blacksoil | Warrego Highway | Road access changes (25/8/24 - 19/9/24)

The Department of Transport and Main Roads advise that pavement repair and resurfacing works will be undertaken in the westbound carriageway, in two sections, on the Warrego Highway between Kholo Road and Wulkuraka Connection Road, Blacksoil.

Impact 

Warrego Highway (westbound between Kholo Road and Bramers Road) 

  • Works will commence 8pm on Sunday, 25 August 2024 to 5am on Thursday, 19 September 2024.
  • Works will be undertaken from Sunday to Friday during the hours of 8pm and 5am, nightly.

Fernvale Road on-ramp to Warrego Highway (westbound)

  • Will be closed for three (3) nights between the hours of 9pm and 5am. 
  • During these periods, traffic detours will be in effect and heavy vehicles will be directed via appropriate detour signage. 

Heavy vehicle operators must do the following: 

  1. Loads greater than 3.0m wide are advised to contact Adam Kropp (adam.kropp@fultonhogan.com.au) at least three (3) working days prior to travel. 
  2. Operators must also contact on site representative, Denis McCarthy, on 0499 701 159 (Project Engineer) at least two (2) hours prior to arrival onsite. 
  3. On arrival, operators are to stop at the worksite and call Denis McCarthy on 0499 701 159 prior to travelling through site. 

Failure to provide notice may result in delays to your travel.
