Road Conditions: Pacific Motorway (M1), Burleigh - North and Southbound Temporary lane closures between Exit 87 and Exit 89

Between 10pm Monday 27 March and 5am Tuesday 28 March 2023, there will be traffic delays along the Pacific Motorway between Exit 87 Burleigh and Exit 89 Tallebudgera while Energex relocate overhead powerlines underground.
Motorists can expect several short holds on the M1 north and southbound lanes between Exit 89 and Exit 87. The holds to traffic will involve rolling blockades of up to 15 minutes on the M1 in both directions. The relocation of the powerlines is expected to be completed in one night (weather permitting).
To ensure the safety of motorists and road workers, motorists will be advised in advance of these short holds on the M1 via roadside message signage and the QLDTraffic website.
