Road Conditions NSW: Changed traffic conditions on M1 Pacific Motorway

From Monday 20 February, changed traffic conditions will be in place on the M1 Pacific Motorway between the Hunter Expressway and John Renshaw Drive intersection.
Work will be carried out between 7:30pm and 4:30am from Monday 20 February to Thursday 23 February (weather permitting).
As a wet weather contingency option, closure may also be required between 7:30pm and 4:30am on Monday 27 February and Tuesday 28 February.
Monday 20 to Tuesday 21 February - Southbound carriageway
- The southbound carriageway of the M1 will be closed to traffic over two nights between 7.30pm and 4.30am.
- A detour will be in place for all southbound motorists via John Renshaw Drive and the Hunter Expressway, as shown in the enclosed map.
- The detour is expected to add around 10 kilometres to journeys, which is about 10 to 15 minutes travel time.
- The northbound carriageway will remain open.
Wednesday 22 to Thursday 23 February - Northbound carriageway
- The northbound carriageway of the M1 will be closed over two nights to traffic between 7.30pm and 4.30am.
- A detour will be in place for all northbound motorists via the Hunter Expressway and John Renshaw Drive, as shown in the enclosed map.
- The detour is expected to add around 10 kilometres to journeys, which is about 10 to 15 minutes travel time.
- The southbound carriageway will remain open.
