NSW Traffic Alert - Changed traffic conditions through Kings Cross/Darlinghurst

On Saturday 12 November from 9am till 11:30pm, road closures and special event clearways will be in place along Darlinghurst Rd and Macleay St, due to the Sydney Streets event.
Road closures
The following roads will be closed from 9am until 11:30pm:
- Darlinghurst Rd between Bayswater Rd and Macleay St
- Macleay St between Darlinghurst Rd and Hughes St
- Orwell St between Orwell Ln and Macleay St
- Roslyn St at Darlinghurst Rd
Special Event clearway
Special event clearways will be in effect from 8am until 11:30pm on sections of:
- Darlinghurst Rd
- Macleay St
- Orwell St
- Ward Ave
- Elizabeth Bay Rd
Clearways are strict no-parking zones. Check signs carefully as vehicles left in clearways will be towed and a fee applies.
Heavy vehicles
Heavy vehicles can detour around the closures via Bayswater Rd, Ward Ave/Elizabeth Bay Rd and Greenknowe Ave in both directions.
Heavy vehicles more than 12.5m in length are encouraged to avoid the area where possible or exercise caution due to the narrow nature of the local streets in the area.
