NSW: Changed traffic conditions on Hume Highway at Bowning

Changed traffic conditions will be in place on the Hume Highway at Bowning from Monday 24 February, for up to eight weeks due to resurfacing work.
A 4.7-kilometre section of the northbound carriageway will be closed and a contraflow in place using the southbound carriageway for the duration of the work.
Operators of OSOM vehicles over 4.5 metres wide will be required to park and contact traffic controllers on 0461 431 450 or UHF 21 for assistance through the work site. Parking locations will be at:
- Northbound Hume Highway park at Conroys Gap rest area
- Southbound Hume Highway park at Mundoonan rest area
- Lachlan Valley Way toward Hume Highway park at Bendenine stockpile
- Burley Griffin Way toward Hume Highway park at Binalong Rest area
More information for OSOM operators will be on Variable Message Signs at these parking locations.
All motorists are advised to allow an additional 10 minutes travel time.
Please note:
Unless specified otherwise, operators of Class 1,2 & 3 vehicles travelling under a Notice must consult their relevant enforceable network map to confirm a suitable approved alternate route.
Operators of Class 1, 2 & 3 vehicles travelling under a Permit must not travel off the approved route listed in the permit unless an updated permit is obtained from the NHVR.
