- Goodwood Road, between Kinkuna Siding Road and Coonarr Drive

Works will involve resealing of aged existing sealed surfaces to provide a new bitumen road surface and preserving the underlying structure by re-waterproofing the surface.
Works will commence from mid March 2025 and are expected to take around one week to complete at each site, weather and other conditions permitting.
For up-to-date information on roadworks and impacts visit www.qldtraffic.qld.gov.au.
Variable Message Boards will also be used at each location to notify road users of specific dates and times in advance of works commencing.
Construction impacts
Works will generally be carried out Monday to Saturday, 6am to 6pm. Some periodic work outside these hours may be required. During construction nearby residents, businesses, and road users can expect the following:
- Traffic delays: Motorists should expect some delays and are reminded to observe traffic signage and be aware of changed conditions
- Roadside parking restrictions: There may be restrictions to parking on the road shoulder at some sites to ensure the safety of motorists and prevent vehicle damage.
- Private property access restrictions: Property accesses may be temporarily restricted for a short period during the works. The team will endeavour to minimise access restrictions and will advise property owners of imminent access disruptions where possible.
- Construction noise and dust: Heavy machinery will be used during the work period resulting in localised noise and possible dust impacts. The project team understands the inconvenience this may cause and will reduce these impacts wherever possible.
- Changed traffic conditions: Speed restrictions, lane closures and detours may be in place during the works. Motorists are urged to drive to the changed conditions and obey all signage and traffic controllers’ directions.
TMR thanks motorists and nearby residents and businesses for their patience and cooperation while these works are carried out.
