Road Conditions Update-Sth Burnett-Road Works on D'Aguilar Hwy, Blackbutt
TMR will be undertaking concrete batter repair works on the D'Aguilar Highway, Blackbutt will begin soon.
Key works and benefits:
- stabilising of the batter slope
- reducing likelihood of ongoing investigation/maintenance
- minimising the likelihood of slips onto the road.
These works will stabilise the batter slope and minimise the likelihood of slips into oncoming traffic. They will also help reduce the need for ongoing maintenance and increase safety for road users. Repair works will take place on the eastbound lane on D'Aguilar Highway, Blackbutt.
What to expect:
- majority of works will be undertaken during the day between 7am and 5pm, Monday to Saturday
- occasional night and weekend works may be required
- works are expected to take 10 weeks to complete, weather and construction conditions permitting
- motorists may experience minor delays and are encouraged to drive to the changed traffic conditions, obeying signage, reduced speed limits and traffic controller directions at all times
- temporary lane closures, reduced speed limits, construction signage and traffic control measures will be in place during the work
- emergency vehicles will be given priority access through the work site.
