Road Conditions Update-NQ-Reduced speed limit and single lane operation – Flinders Highway 4-6/6/24

TMR would like to advise that monitoring and inspection works will soon occur on the Warrigal Creek Bridge approximately 125km west of Charters Towers.

Single lane contraflow & speed reductions will occur from:

Tuesday 4 June 2024 to Thursday 6 June 2024 between 6am to 6pm

A speed reduction from 100km/hr to 40km/hr will be required during these important inspections, between Tuesday 4 to Thursday 6 June.

The temporary road conditions will ensure the safety of motorists while monitoring and inspection works are undertaken on the bridge.

Please find all relevant information about works and traffic impacts in the attached flyer. All work is subject to weather conditions, contractor availability and construction progress.
