Road Conditions Update-Maranoa-Injune to Rolleston-Dawson Rvr Br. Carnarvon Hwy

TMR advises that Crossing 3 of the Dawson River bridge on the Carnarvon Highway (Injune - Rolleston) will be closed to all traffic for the following dates:

• Wednesday 24 July 2024 between 6am and 6pm
• Friday 26 July 2024 between 6am and 6pm
• Monday 29 July 2024 between 6am and 6pm
• Wednesday 7 August 2024 between 6am and 6pm

Outside these dates and hours, all vehicle combinations with a ground contact width and/or loaded width greater than 3.0m continue to not be permitted to travel through the site. However, eligible vehicles can access the alternate route, via Leichhardt Highway, provided a copy of the approved variation letter (see attached file) is used in conjunction with a current permit. Operators without a current permit are required to apply via the NHVR Portal for the alternative route.
