Road Conditions SEQ: Bridge to Brisbane - Gateway Bridge southbound closure

Closure times
The following temporary closures will be in place on Transurban’s roads on Sunday 8 September 2024 due to the event:
- Gateway Motorway southbound between Southern Cross Way off-ramp at Nudgee to Port of Brisbane Motorway on-ramp at Murarrie, from 5am to 9:30am.
- This includes the Sir Leo Hielscher/Gateway Bridge southbound and Airport Drive southbound on-ramp.
- Gateway Motorway southbound off-ramp to Lytton Road from 2am to 9:30am.
- Gateway Motorway southbound off-ramp from Port of Brisbane Motorway from 2am to 9:30am.
- Inner City Bypass westbound closure between Kingsford Smith Drive and Clem7/Bowen Bridge Road on-ramps from 3am to 12:30pm.
- Inner City Bypass eastbound closure between Abbotsford Road off-ramp and Kingsford Smith Drive from 3am to 12:30pm.
- AirportlinkM7 Campbell St on-ramp and off-ramp closure at Bowen Hills from 3am to 12:30pm.
To keep Brisbane motorists moving while the southbound Gateway Bridge is closed, AirportlinkM7 and Clem7 southbound tunnels will be toll free on Sunday 8 September 2024 between 5am and 9:30am for suitable vehicles.
Heavy vehicles including B doubles, carrying oversized loads or dangerous goods will need to plan ahead to avoid travelling during this time, or park at the Nudgee Service Centre until the bridge reopens.
