Road Conditions: Pacific Motorway (M1) southbound bridge removal at Logan Road, Springwood

The next stage of construction is about to start which involves removing the M1 southbound bridge over Logan Road, ready for a new, wider bridge to be built.

The bridge removal works require Logan Road to fully close under the M1 between Rochedale Road and Compton Road each night (Sunday to Thursday) between 9pm-5am from Tuesday 31 October to Thursday 7 December 2023.

Note: Vehicles with a maximum clearance of 4.3 meters will be detoured via Springwood Road. Refer to the detour map attached. Vehicles exceeding 4.3 metres will be directed to an alternative route by traffic controllers on scene.

Works are being undertaken as part of the Pacific Motorway (M1): Eight Mile Plains to Daisy Hill Upgrade, jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland governments.
