Impacts to OSOM
OSOM operators with ground contact width wider than 3.2 metres and/or width greater than 4.5 metres are advised to contact the project team on 1800 515 141 at least one day ahead of movement to avoid significant delays.
Vehicles travelling under Permit must not travel off the approved route listed in the Permit unless an updated Permit is obtained from the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR).
OSOM restrictions for operators can now be found under the ‘Traffic arrangements tab’ on Live Traffic. Operators can also view traffic impacts across Newcastle and surrounds at Newcastle and surrounds - traffic impacts | Transport for NSW.
Transport for NSW will keep you informed of other significant changed traffic conditions that may apply outside of these impacts.
