Road Conditions NSW: Changed traffic conditions on M7 Motorway in Cecil Park (Updated)

There will be changed traffic conditions on the M7 Motorway in Cecil Park for heavy vehicle operators at night from Monday 5 August to Friday 30 August 2024.
There will be temporary lane, road and ramp closures along the M7 Motorway between Elizabeth Drive and The Horsley Drive for the Villiers Road bridge girder installation works.
These works will take place between 9pm Monday evening and 5am Friday morning.
The closure of the M7 Motorway will start from Thursday, 8 August and take place on the following dates:
Detours under notice will be via The Horsley Drive, Cowpasture and Wallgrove Roads when the M7 Motorway closures are taking place. This detour route is suitable for heavy vehicles operating under notice.
OSOM vehicles operating under the Multi-State Class 1 Load Carrying Vehicles Mass and/or Dimension Exemption Notices can use the available detours if they are suitable for their combination. Operators are reminded that under Schedule 8 of the Heavy Vehicle (Mass, Dimension and Loading) National Regulation (NSW), there is a requirement for the driver and operator to scope the proposed route prior to travel to ensure it is suitable for their vehicle.
Vehicles operating under a specific permit are reminded that travel is only permitted on the roads listed in their permit. If travel is required on the detour, operators will need to contact the NHVR to request an amendment to the route on their permit.
Failure to follow this traffic alert will result in significant delays.
