Road Conditions NQ: John Row Bridge, Bruce Highway (25/11/24)

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) advises that the rehabilitation works will require a full night closuse of the John Row Bridge, located 3km north of Ingham on the Bruce Highway.

(Weather and construction conditions permitting)

The bridge will reopen to traffic from 5am on Tuesday 26 November.  Traffic controllers will be onsite while works are underway.  Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles.

A detour will be in place for those travelling to or from Ingham via Halifax Road through Halifax.  A map is included below.

Road users are asked to drive carefully through the detour, follow the direction of signage and adhere to reduced speed limits.  TMR would like to thank you for your patience and understanding during these important works.

ATTENTION HEAVY VEHICLE OPERATORS

The detour route is not suitable for heavy vehicles.  Heavy vehicles will not be permitted to cross the bridge during the closure period.
