Road Conditions North Coast: Resurfacing Cooroy Connection Road
Source: TMR North Coast Region
The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) can advise that its contractor will soon begin preparatory works ahead of resurfacing on Cooroy Connection Road (Myall Street), Cooroy.
These works have been scheduled as part of a package of resurfacing and pavement rehabilitation that includes a section of the Bruce Highway, southbound, near Nambour, which will get underway first.
Resurfacing works in Cooroy are scheduled to start in mid-September, weather and construction conditions permitting.
The project area extends from just south of Ferrells Road to just east of the railway overpass, including the bridge deck. A pavement rehabilitation treatment will be undertaken at the Myall and Elm Street intersection and on the approaches to the railway bridge. Please see the attached flyer for further information.
Signage will be installed to provide road users with advance notification about traffic disruptions and motorists are urged to check 13 19 40 or Queensland Traffic (qldtraffic.qld.gov.au) for updates.
If you require additional information regarding the works, please contact TMR's project team on 5451 7055 or email northcoast@tmr.qld.gov.au.
