Road conditions FNQ: McLeod River bridge, Mulligan Highway (Mount Molloy – Lakeland)

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) will be carrying out maintenance works on McLeod River bridge on the Mulligan Highway between Mt Molloy and Lakeland from Monday 5 December 2022, weather and construction conditions permitting.

Crews will be onsite between 6:30 am and 6 pm. Intermittent full bridge closures will be required during the works of up to 15-minute periods throughout the day. TMR has arrangements in place to provide emergency access if required.

For the safety of road users and maintenance crews, changed traffic conditions will be in place including a temporary speed limit reduction while the works are carried out. Road users should plan their travel accordingly. 

The works are expected to be completed by 16 December 2022, weather and construction conditions permitting.
