Road conditions: Bruce Highway (Central Qld) - Raglan Creek Bridge, Expect traffic delays
Information from Department of Transport & Main Roads, Heavy Vehicles Unit
Motorists and heavy vehicle operators (including OSOM and heavy freight vehicles) are advised that extended delays are expected between 10pm starting on the night of Thursday, 1 December 2022 and 5am on the morning of Friday 2 December 2022 on the Bruce Highway at Raglan Creek bridge, approximately 13km north of Mt Larcom/58km south of Rockhampton.
A possible delay period of up to four hours is required due to a temporary closure of the Bruce Highway to facilitate the very low speed crossing of Raglan Creek bridge for a large oversize load movement.
Speed reductions, traffic control and signage will be in place at Raglan Creek bridge to ensure the safety of all road users.
All road users are encouraged to plan and schedule in expectation of these temporary closures.
