REMINDER: AMENDED IR ALERT-Rate of Pay for Christmas/New Year Holidays, Issue 23

REMINDER - This alert was issued on 16/12/21, and this is a reminder about the AMENDMENT for in both the Road Transport and Distribution Award and the Long Distance Operations Award in relation to the extra Christmas Day Public Holiday on 27 December 2021.

RT&D Award - Boxing Day & Additional Christmas Day (Sunday, 26 December 2021, Monday, 27 December 2021 & Tuesday, 28 December 2021)
Time and a half for all hours worked for a min of 4 hours (in addition to normal weekly wage) – (effectively double time and half time if a full day worked).

LD Award - Boxing Day & Additional Christmas Day (Sunday, 26 December 2021, Monday, 27 December 2021 & Tuesday, 28 December 2021)
20% of the weekly base rate plus payment for driving (CPK for distance travelled OR hourly driving rate).
