Registrations Now Open First on Scene - HV Driver Training Program
The QTA First on Scene HV Driver Remote Incident Training Program is launching in May. The first course will kick off on the Gold Coast, followed by other locations in the South East and in regional Queensland.
There is no cost for the training as it is being funded by the Motor Accident Insurance Commission.
The training is aimed at heavy vehicle drivers who are often the first to arrive on the scene of a road accident or critical incident in remote, rural and regional areas.
What is included?
- Immediate Safety and Scene Considerations and awareness (including Powerline Safety, Dangerous Goods awareness)
- Accident Location and Communication tools and strategies
- Specialist road crash accident and management awareness including:
- Emergency First Aid Response intruction
- Stop the Bleed instruction - Certificate of Completion
How to book
Registrations are now open for locations around Queensland and can be done online or by sending an email to admin@qta.com.au if you need to make a booking for multiple people. Numbers are limited at each session.
