Ollera Ck Bridge Temporary Structure Completed 6/2/25

We have been advised that the temporary access solution at Ollera Creek Bridge on the Bruce Highway has been completed and will be open this afternoon/early evening. Please pay attention to the specifics of the use of this temporary structure. We appreciate that this is an ongoing frustrating situation, however, please be patient as a solution for all heavy vehicle access is worked out.

CONDITIONS FOR ACCESS OVER OLLERA CREEK BRIDGE TEMPORARY STRUCTURE

• ACCESS WILL ONLY BE FOR VEHICLES 35 TONNES AND UNDER
• PRIORITY WILL GIVEN TO EMERGENCY SERVICES AND SUPPLY VEHICLES TO TRANSPORT WATER, FUEL, CRITICAL FOOD SUPPLIES AND SUPPORT SERVICES.

SPECIFIC INFORMATION

• The temporary bridge is only SINGLE LANE
• Traffic will flow one direction at a time and under traffic control
• Speed will be low so abide by instructions and signage.
• Checkpoints set up at Rollingstone Truck Pads and Barrett Road on either side of the bridge
• A register of recording details of vehicles and people crossing will be kept 
• Please be respectful to all workers who are supervising the access over this structure

The Flinders Highway and Gregory Development Road will need to be continued to be utilised (when it is open) until a solution is achieved for the Ollera Creek Bridge.
