NTC Webinar - Keeping you informed on the ADG Code Review
The NTC would like to invite you to join their webinar drop-in sessions on Tuesday 25 February and Wednesday 12 March, where they’ll be discussing the feedback received in the recent consultation on the draft Australian Dangerous Goods Code (the Code).
The Code establishes the requirements for the transport of dangerous goods by road and rail in Australia. It sets out rules and guidelines for classifying, packaging, marking, labelling and transporting dangerous goods safely.
As part of the first comprehensive review of the Code in 15 years, the NTC consulted on 12 discussion papers addressing key areas that need updating or improving. Following this review, the NTC prepared a draft update to ensure the Code meets current best practices and the needs of industry and regulators.
Public consultation on the draft Code has now closed, and the NTC are moving into the next phase. Over the coming months, the NTC will host regular drop-in webinar sessions. These webinars offer an opportunity to stay up to date as the NTC review and respond to the comments and concerns raised during consultation.
The first two drop-in webinar sessions will be happening in the coming weeks. Click below to register:
