NSW: New changed traffic conditions on Gwydir Highway at Jackadgery Bridge

There are new changed traffic conditions for vehicles on the Gwydir Highway at Jackadgery Bridge from Tuesday 28 January for three months, weather permitting. 

The following restrictions for Oversize Overmass (OSOM) and heavy vehicles will be in place:

• During this work, OSOM vehicles wider than 3.5 metres are required to contact the project team on 0448 420 273 at least 24 hours before reaching the site to discuss access options
• On Friday 21 February and Friday 28 March, 6pm to 6am, a temporary overnight bridge closure will be in place. Heavy vehicle operators are advised to avoid travel during this time
• On Saturday 22 February and Saturday 29 March, 6am to 9am, heavy vehicle over 4.5 tonnes are advised to avoid travel during this time or wait until after 9am to access the bridge.
