NSW: Changed traffic conditions on Hume Motorway at Menangle

Changed traffic conditions will be in place on the Hume Motorway at Menangle from Sunday 2 February to Thursday 13 February between 8pm and 4am to carry out essential maintenance work. No work will occur on Friday or Saturday nights.

A 3-kilometre contraflow will be implemented each night, with traffic control managing flow in both directions. A reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place during work hours while outside of work hours, a temporary speed limit of 80 km/h will apply northbound past the site.

Vehicles over four metres wide will be required to contact traffic controllers on site for assistance to travel through the work site. Variable message boards on approach to site will provide UHF channel details and further information.

Please note:

Unless specified otherwise, operators of Class 1,2 & 3 vehicles travelling under a Notice must consult their relevant enforceable network map to confirm a suitable approved alternate route. 

Operators of Class 1, 2 & 3 vehicles travelling under a Permit must not travel off the approved route listed in the permit unless an updated permit is obtained from the NHVR.
