Night time width restrictions - Burdekin River Bridge, Ayr - Home Hill

From Sunday 30 October to Friday 4 November 2022temporary lane closures and width restrictions will be in place on the Burdekin River Bridge nightly between 7pm and 5am, for sloping cord replacement works.


Wide load restrictions

Vehicles or loads 3.4 m wide or greater will not be permitted to cross the Burdekin River Bridge during these works. The existing height restriction of 4.5 m remains in place.

The Bruce Highway will reopen to oversize and wide loads between 5am and 7pm daily; and after the work is complete at 5am on Friday 4 November 2022. Wide load operators are advised to avoid the area and make alternative plans while the Bruce Highway is closed to loads wider than 3.4 m.
