IR Alert, Issue 29 - Respect@Work Bill passes Parliament

On 28 November, the Respect@Work Bill passed Parliament and now awaits Royal Assent. The legislation seeks to address and prohibit workplace sex discrimination, harassment and victimisation as well as empower the Australian Human Rights Commission to investigate complaints at their own initiative and refer matters to court.
