Cunningham Highway H/Vehicle Detour - Ipswich Amberley Air Tattoo (29-30 October)
The Ipswich Amberley Air Tattoo Event is being held at the Amberley RAAF Base on Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th October. With approximately 20 000 attendees per day accessing the airbase via the Cunningham Highway there is expected to be maximum congestion on the Cunningham Highway in both directions between 06:00 & 18:00 each event day.
VMS Boards have been installed on the Cunningham Highway to advise of the upcoming event at the Amberley RAAF Base and to advise heavy vehicle drivers of available detour route to avoid the event entry/exit site.
Please alert your drivers to avoid the Cunningham Highway around the RAAF Base & to use the Heavy Vehicle Detour Route available to them on the 29th & 30th October.
